Preach it Cyndi, life is to short to care about the haters.
Just a few pictures I took this weekend @ Union Station as I was on the way to visit family in the burbs. I really do feel lucky to live in such an amazing city. Love ya Toronto, I can't wait to continue to watch you grow ❤️.
Mother's Day sort of snuck up on me this year and I really didn't get around to doing a design project to celebrate my mom this year.
This Mother's Day seems a little easier than last years but I still miss and think of my mom every day. I thought I'd celebrate my mom today by posting a picture of her and her mom, who she lost when she was a few years younger than me.
As much as today is an important day it's always good to remember that today is a hard and complicated day for lots of people for many, many different reasons.
On that note, I still want to wish all the Mom's out there (including fur baby Mom's!), A Happy Mother's Day.
Happy St Paddy's Day from a gal that comes from strong Montreal-Irish Stock! I'm celebrating today with 100 Years of Beauty: Ireland Edition. Enjoy! 🍀 🍺
I'm celebrate Women's History Month by sharing documentaries with all of you about extraordinary women from all walks of life that changed the art, design, music and fashion world. Enjoy!
Since discovering 1920's Parisian artist and textile designer Sonia Delauany a few years ago, I've been obsessed with learning about all things Sonia. Today I discovered these video gems (featured below) from the 1920's featuring her clothing and fabrics. If you too are interested in learning more about her I personally suggest the book Colour Moves: Art & Fashion by Sonia Delaunay by Susan Brown.
Now this is a commute I can get behind. Sweden you are amazing.
Toronto you're beautiful.
This year my style muse is without a doubt, my mom! I hope everyone has a fabulous 2016. xoxo
Me today and everyday!
As per use as I love the history behind the looks even more than the actual looks themselves. How both videos are great.
Today and every day I remember those who have fought for our freedom. Those who came home, those who lost their lives and those who are still fighting.
There is nothing scarier than a pissed off cat in a costume! Happy Halloween from Mosi (pictured below), Beanie (my other kitty he was too tiny for the hot dog costume) and I! xoxo
As much as I love the actual 100 Years of Beauty videos from Cut Video, I love their behind the scene & history of the looks videos even more.
