Artsy Fartsy: Cleopatra 1963

May 18, 2017

I just watched Cleopatra circa 1963 starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. As Cleopatra, Elizabeth had 65 costume changes. The most costume changes ever until 1996's Evita. All of Elizabeth's costumes were amazing. However, I'm not sure how accurate they were, it was 1963 and all.  My fave part of the movie was when during a confrontation between Cleopatra & Mark Anthony, Cleopatra's costumes drastically change at every cut, along with the actor's positions and scenery.

Original Scene from DVD release of Cleopatra 1963 It's the dispute scene between Cleopatra and Antony. with 3 amazing jump cuts.

Finally got to take my #vegan desert boots from @clarksoriginals for a spin! Very comfy, however since they are mens they fit differently than women’s shoes.
New Black Rainbow Confetti 🎉 Hat from 🇨🇦 @threebearsknits.
